The Green Key

Clefverte

Le MERIDIEN Beach Plaza has been awarded the Green Key label. It's the first French Riviera Hotel awarded with the prestigious Green Key, which honours the Hotel environmental policy.

The Green Key award distinguishes establishments which respect a series of environmental criteria such as environmental education, general environmental management, waste, water and energy management. According to these criteria, the Jury awarded the Green Key label to the MERIDIEN Beach Plaza on October 29th 2010.

In order to protect its amazing location facing the Mediterranean sea and to sensibilize both its team and clients, Le MERIDIEN Beach Plaza's Green Team has decided to engage the Hotel in a real environmental-concerned process, and lead actions such as energy consumption reductions with the "housekeeping turndown" and "green choice" programs, waste collecting and sorting, use of recycled paper for both hotel internal departments and guest communications, local herbs and plants environmental-friendly plantation.
